Where are the Women in Sales and Sales Leadership?

Welcome to the new and improved Women Sales Pros website.

We have come a long way from our humble beginnings and are now set on helping solve the disproportionate ratio of men to women in sales roles, and the lack of women sales leaders in these industries:

  • Distribution

Are we missing any?

As we move forward we will keep a strong focus on our top women sales experts, because event organizers and companies seem to have a hard time finding great women for their main stages. I was just looking at an upcoming event that has 11 main stage speakers and only one is a woman. The problem with that is the audience will be 35-50% women and women want to see a reflection of themselves on the MAIN stage.

In addition to our focus on experts, we are now helping companies identify, recruit, retain, and promote great women in sales and sales leadership. It is a big goal to see more than 19% of VP Sales and above being women (CEB, now Gartner). We are staring that statistic down and look forward to a bigger number – but it will take women and men in leadership roles in companies to change it.

As CEB (now Gartner) wrote in 2015, Sales Leadership: Where Are All the Women? We ask the same in 2018.
